CartRise is a post-purchase offers app for Wix stores, operated by RedClan Ventures Ltd. This policy explains what the app does with data when it runs on a store.

What we collect

CartRise stores offer event records only:

• the event type (offer shown, clicked, dismissed, or attributed),
• the discount code associated with the offer (our CART- codes),
• the Wix order identifier,
• the Wix buyer contact identifier — a platform id provided by Wix. We never receive names, emails, addresses, or payment details,
• the offer amount, and
• the page URL, truncated to 300 characters.

We store no personal data beyond these Wix platform identifiers, no payment data, and we run no third-party analytics or advertising.

Where data lives

All records are stored in Wix-managed data collections on Wix's own infrastructure, with privileged access from the app's server-side code only. We operate no external servers and process nothing off Wix's platform.

Cookies and local storage

The storefront script sets one random, non-identifying visitor id in local storage (cartrise_vid) and a one-shot session marker so an offer shows once per shopper. No tracking cookies, no cross-site tracking, no profiling.

Sharing

We do not sell, resell, or share data with third parties. Data is used solely to compute the attribution statistics shown in the store's CartRise dashboard.

Retention and deletion

Uninstalling CartRise removes its data collections with the app. Store owners can also delete event records at any time from the app dashboard.

Security

All writes pass through Wix's authenticated SDK in server-side code. The app's single public endpoint validates and limits input sizes before any write. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest as provided by Wix's platform.

Your rights and complaints

Because we process no direct personal data, the data controller for shopper information remains the store owner and Wix. If you believe our app affected your data, contact RedClan Ventures Ltd through the app's support channel in the Wix App Market — complaints are acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved or escalated through Wix's data protection process.

Breach notification

If we ever detect an incident affecting data stored by the app, we will notify affected merchants and Wix without undue delay.
